Edmonton police have made arrests after a series of summertime thefts where a group of seemingly friendly strangers offer victims compliments and affection before discretely robbing them.
Officers in August began an investigation into the activity of the group involved in property crime consisting of the theft of more than $1,500 of goods from a local grocery store, as well as distraction-style thefts of gold jewelry, police said in a Tuesday news release…..
