Renewed appeal on cash-in-transit robbery

Gardai have renewed their appeal for information following a cash-in-transit robbery at the Topaz Service Station on the Proudstown Road, Navan, this day last week. At approximately 11am, last Friday 28th April, RMS Security were performing a cash delivery and collection at the filling station. As the driver of the security van was entering the security van after performing his delivery and collection of cash, he was approached by a male who was wielding what appeared to be a metal bar.

A Preston jewellery store was targeted by two thieves yesterday afternoon.
