LARGEST ORGANISED CRIME GROUP IN EASTERN SPAIN’ BROUGHT DOWN AS 81 ARRESTED, 4 TONNES OF COCAINE SEIZED AND 800 BANK ACCOUNTS FROZEN

THE ‘largest organised crime group in eastern Spain’ has been brought down following a seven-nation investigation that saw 81 arrests, the seizure of 4,000kg of cocaine and 800 bank accounts frozen. ‘Operation Beautiful’, coordinated by Spain but involving law enforcement authorities from Colombia, France, Portugal, Romania, Sweden and the United Kingdom, and supported by Europol, dismantled the ‘violent gang’ in a string of sting operations last week.

Quattro presunti rapinatori sono stati arrestati, dalla polizia con l’accusa di aver rapinato un gioielliere il 7 giugno scorso. I quattro avrebbero messo a segno la rapina nell’attività commerciale in via Santa Maria Fulcorina, tra Duomo e Cordusio, a Milano. Le indagini che hanno portato ai quattro arresti sono state svolte dal Commissariato Centro. Gli arrestati sono una donna di 46 anni, considerata la mente del gruppo, e tre uomini di 53; 46 e 33 anni.

Selon nos informations, une femme se faisant passer pour une princesse des Emirats Arabes Unis aurait dérobé des bijoux d’une grande valeur, mercredi soir, chez un joaillier de la rue Saint-Honoré, à Paris, en plaçant des bouillons cubes dans l’écrin pour tromper la vigilance de la commerçante.

G4S driver jailed after stealing cash from vehicle he was driving

A G4S driver who stole £1million from the cash-in-transit vehicle he was driving has been jailed. Joel March, 36 (14.09.1982) of Rectory Grove, SW4 was sentenced to four years and four months’ imprisonment at Inner London Crown Court today, Friday 26 July. He previously pleaded guilty to theft and concealing criminal property at Camberwell Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 25 April.
